Content creation isn't easy
A common misconception that I've seen floating around in the media, on social media, and in overheard conversations at coffee shops is that content creation isn't a real job or something that we need in our society. I beg to differ. Content creation is a much-needed field and a multi-billion dollar industry.
The reason I think that this thought has permeated the minds of so many is that they think that content creation is easy and that anyone can do it. But they couldn't be more wrong. I've seen people consistently post content to social media for 5+ years and get absolutely nowhere while others will post only a few times a month and garner a huge following and be in a position to monetize their content. That in and of itself proves that content creation isn't easy.
In my day-to-day life, I have to create content for my clients and it is a full-time job. Creating content schedules, creating graphics, filming videos, editing videos, going onsite for photoshoots, and then heading back to the office to edit those photos. It's a lot of work.
