Finding passion

"Work a job you love and you'll never work a day in your life." It's an old and oftentimes overused phrase but there is some truth behind it. Working in a job or owning a business that you love and that you're passionate about will lead to a happier, healthier, and richer life than working in something you hate or don't enjoy.

For a few years, I worked a handful of different jobs trying to find the right fit. Then I learned to run Facebook ads. I was instantly hooked. I wanted to run ads for people, I just didn't know where to start. Then a year later I was asked to join a political campaign as the social media manager and help them run Facebook ads. During that time I found my passion - digital marketing. I knew I didn't want to do much else in my life. I enjoyed the creative process and getting to design graphics and copy to convince people to take a desired action. Then I started a Facebook ads agency and learned so much more. Now, I'm living a happy life doing something I absolutely love. I found my passion.

Often times we can get lost trying to find what we love. My advice is to sit down and write down the things you enjoy doing. Take that list and think of different career or business opportunities that revolve around your interests. Then go try them. See if one brings joy to your life. If not, try looking deeper into possible options in business or work.
