What I'm Thankful For
Around this time of year, we tend to take a pause and realize what we're thankful for. I'm no different in that regard. I've been thinking of all the things I'm grateful for and what they mean to me.
I know it's a cliche, but family really does matter and I truly am thankful for them. See, when I was only a few months old I was taken in by my Great Aunt, Georgia. She had retired from the USPS a few years prior in 1994. I joke that I was her retirement gift. If she hadn't taken me in and done all that she has I wouldn't be the person I am today doing what I'm doing.
Again, this a cliche, I know. But, having the right friends who have your back and support you in new ventures is invaluable. I'm lucky to have one really good friend who does that. Nathan and I have been friends for years. I consider him a brother! He and I are currently in the process of building a game-changing sales tool.
I'm the luckiest guy in the world because I have the good fortune to be in a loving relationship with the most beautiful, smart, funny, and supportive person. Since day one Taylor has given me so much love and support that at times it can be overwhelming, in a good way of course!
My main project now is building a digital marketing agency in the heart of downtown Springfield, Ohio. That wouldn't be possible without the amazing people that have entrusted me to help them with websites, logo designs, social media, and more.
This Thanksgiving I'm looking forward to the turkey, stuffing, and potatoes but most importantly I'm looking forward to spending time surrounded by those that care.
